The platform for digital return management allows retailers to always keep track of their returns and sustainably reduce the number of returns. Now, there is also the option to access centrally managed physical logistics. This further contributes to a positive customer journey by the Leverkusen-based company. “We are pleased to now offer our customers both national and international solutions, thereby helping to optimize integrated processes and generate a better one-stop shopping experience,” explains Artjom Bruch, CEO of Trusted Returns. The expanded offering would make medium-sized companies in online retail more competitive compared to the big players in the industry.
With the expansion of the platform, Trusted Returns offers its customers the opportunity to consolidate contracts and sustainably save costs. Thanks to a network of international partners, retailers have direct access to the respective networks. The combination of digital management, IT platform, and a logistics solution offers a clear advantage over individual carriers. Instead of having to conclude separate contracts for each country to which goods are delivered – and from which goods are, of course, returned – contracts can be easily consolidated thanks to the logistics expansion of the Trusted Returns platform.
In the near future, the Leverkusen-based company is also considering opening its own consolidation center to better serve its customers. However, even now, Trusted Returns is able to offer retailers a cost-effective overall package of goods shipping, logistics, and digital return management.
The expansion of its own offering comes from collaboration with various logistics partners. This not only saves costs for the retailer but also using a digital return management platform in combination with integrated logistics is another step towards full transparency for the end consumer. The consumer has insight into all processes from the outset and can be engaged by the retailer much earlier: for example, if a product can be resold, it is brought directly to the warehouse thanks to intelligent route planning, whereas defective or unusable products no longer take this route. If a customer decides to keep the product for a granted discount, this is also considered in the route planning. This way, trips can be sustainably reduced – benefiting the environment.
“All customer solutions are individually considered and developed to offer the best possible variant to the retailer and their customers. Based on existing cooperation with partners in logistics, we can react faster. This helps to solve previously unresolved issues, contributing indirectly to optimization in terms of costs and speed,” says Artjom Bruch. The logistics expansion of Trusted Returns’ digital return management platform is now available.
